STALEKS Carbide Corn Drill Bit, Green, EXPERT, 4 × 14 mm
STALEKS EXPERT Carbide Corn Bit, Green, 4 × 14 mm
The STALEKS EXPERT Green Carbide Corn Bit is a solid-carbide, coarse-cutting e-file bit designed for professional machine manicures and pedicures. Its working section features coarse straight transverse and cross-cut teeth. Unlike abrasive bits that create dust, carbide bits cut through material and produce fine shavings.
The 4 mm STALEKS carbide corn bit with a green band is suitable for:
- Preparing nails for extensions
- Correcting and refining nail enhancements
- Adjusting the shape and thickness of the nail
- Removing hard artificial coatings
- Removing gel polish quickly and efficiently
In pedicure and podiatry procedures, it can be used to treat hardened skin and remove calluses and corns.
During use, move the bit smoothly without sudden motions or holding it in one area for too long. It gently removes material while leaving an even surface.
The maximum recommended speed for this carbide bit is up to 18,000 RPM. Always follow the recommended speed for each type of bit and procedure. Operating at excessive speeds may cause the bit to overheat and could result in injury.
General recommended speeds for nail procedures:
Natural Nails and Skin:
- 5,000–10,000 RPM — refining, reducing thickness, smoothing, and polishing
- 10,000–15,000 RPM — cuticle removal, smoothing the sidewalls, and cleaning nail pockets
Artificial Nails:
- 15,000–20,000 RPM — reducing thickness, removing gel enhancements, and shaping
- 20,000–25,000 RPM — removing coatings and creating nail designs
- 25,000–30,000 RPM — shaping the free edge
- Over 30,000 RPM — selected nail-art techniques and other specialized procedures
Pedicure:
- 5,000–15,000 RPM — removing hardened skin and smoothing the skin
- 15,000–25,000 RPM — cleaning cracks and removing superficial calluses
- 25,000–30,000 RPM or higher — treating corns and performing other specialized procedures
The coarse STALEKS EXPERT carbide corn bit is corrosion-resistant and safe when used correctly. It can be disinfected and sterilized using various approved methods. Do not use disinfecting solutions containing active oxygen.
